The One Thing Providing Content

Back in 2013, I had just finished my first big launch. Finally, after nearlytwo years, I’d managed to create a list and course for content marketers, and it was a beast.

I was fried.

The launch was bumpy. Everything you think could go wrong, did.

Merchant failed.
Servers went down.
Customers complained.

It’s wasn’t fun. Why was I putting myself through this?

Looking back, it’s easier to see the pitfalls. And time is the greatest teacher.

Today, I’d avoid 80% of what I did back then. How do I know this?

Because I failed.

And most importantly, I realise I followed someone else’s blueprint. Not my own.

I wasn’t thinking for myself.

I read the books, bought all the courses, listened to hours of podcasts. My effort did not warrant the reward.

Yes, it made money (barely minimum wage), but it was obvious I was doing something seriously wrong.

Today, I have a different perspective. I think for myself and base decisions on experience.

Learn to seek out the ‘one thing’ that will have the most significant impact on your success.

Then a domino effect will happen.

So my question to you on this Monday morning is – what’s the one thing in your business, team or project that will yield you the biggest result.

Find it. Work on that. And only that.

Now go push.
